Autism Care

Did you know that we provide Autism Care?

We understand that Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. Autism is often hard to diagnose, and the waiting time for an assessment and receiving an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) can be lengthy.

We provide home care and live-in care for people with a range of learning and developmental disabilities (including Autism), from mild learning disabilities to severe mental incapacities.

What we offer:

Visiting Care

Based on the care plan and specific needs of you or your loved one, our carers can visit at specific times of the day- You can choose the amount of visits you require per day or per week and for how long each visit will last, ensuring that we work with your routine to minimise any disruption that a new person coming into your home can bring.

We provide home care in and around Salisbury, Swindon, Bradford-on-Avon, Basingstoke and South East Wales.

Respite Care

If your usual caregiver needs to take a break, we offer respite care to help support you and your caregiver.

Live-in Care

As well as providing visiting care and respite care, Abicare offers Live-in care for anyone that requires additional support. One of our trained live-in carers will live with you or your loved one at home to provide the practical and compassionate support that you need, based on your requirements and person-centered care plan.  We provide live-in care throughout England and Wales.

Why Choose Abicare?

Providing the right level of home care for someone on the autism spectrum requires carers with specialist training. Our trained and motivated carers can minimise the obstacles to home-care learning and development that autism presents.

Whatever the level of care required, our carers are trained to help. We understand the principles and the practice of person-centered care and assisted living. We will work with you and your loved ones to create a tailor-made care package to help you achieve your potential and goals.

Part of your care package will be designed to:

  • Maximise the personal growth of a person with autism.
  • Minimise stress and regression of autistic symptoms.
  • Minimise learning and developmental obstacles.
