What we do to make sure you and your Live-in carer are suited?

A Live-in carer lives with you so we need to make sure the connection is right for both you and your carer. At Abicare all our carers are fully vetted, trained and experienced. We ask all our Live-in carers a variety of questions during their interview so that we know their likes, dislikes, preferences and any interests or hobbies they may have, and we expect our carers to be respectful, reliable, empathetic, patient, kind, caring and observant at all times.

A trial session can be put in place to have a Live-in carer visit to see how everyone gets along. Please don’t worry if you do not get along with your carer – we have an ever growing and wide database of Live-in carers from across England, Wales and overseas, and we can find you a replacement carer if you are not comfortable with the carer you have.

I don’t think i’d like sharing my life with a stranger

At Abicare, we strive to find the perfect match between our carers and clients as we know how personal it is. Your carer will have as much involvement in your life as you want. They are on hand to help you with day to day life, in whatever capacity you need, and if you want someone for companionship as well they are there to keep you company. However, they have their own space and living area, so if you would prefer someone to be more discreet, that’s also fine.
