Proud To Care 2019
Created by The National Association of Care & Support Workers (NACAS), Abigroup are proud to support Professional Care Workers’ Day on Wednesday 4th September.
NACAS was founded in 2016, and all members are individuals employed in professional care and support in the social care sector.

We recently awarded Gilly Sanger, one of our Salisbury carers, Abicare’s Carer of the Year Award for her hard work and dedication to her clients and team. At the age of 70 years old she is an inspiration to us all- she has not had a sick day off for over 400 days and is so well-loved by her clients.
The award was presented to her on 9th August at Starbucks in Salisbury, and we were fortunate enough to have Spire FM and the Salisbury Journal attend the event! Coincidentally, this event also fell on the 10-year anniversary of her joining Abigroup!

At Abigroup we are so proud of ALL our carers- they daily go above and beyond to provide first-class care to their clients and we truly appreciate each and every one of them.
Our Abigroup carers also work extremely hard at being part of effective and supportive teams- examples of this include covering shifts if required and offering a lot of support during the period of heavy snow that we had, when it was often difficult to get to clients.
