CareMatch is not just another care agency-innovative in its approach to care, CareMatch prides itself in doing care differently through its ethos and delivery.  As a Coach, you will be responsible for maintaining & promoting quality care in the community-offering support to carers, clients and their families, as per the key areas of the business and goals outlined below.

Location:  West Sussex (Horsham, East Grinstead and Crawley)

Starting salary:  £24k per annum (opportunity to earn over £39k)

Key Tasks

  • To work within CareMatch guidelines to build communities, develop Care Hubs and assist with induction and shadowing of new carers. You will be required to ensure new carers are fully integrated and familiar with CareMatch policies and procedures
  • To monitor carers delivery and ensure that they understand their duty to attend (where required) any client review meetings, general meetings and supervisions (member and Local Authority meetings)
  • To work with the team to mentor and coach all carers to comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
  • To act as an ambassador for CareMatch – operating professionally, responsibly and reliably at all times
  • To act as a liaison between clients and carers if required and mediate or escalate any concerns as necessary

General Care Duties

  • You will be required to have a flexible approach to your role. You may be required to cover periods of sickness, annual leave and training and to assist with covering calls, which may sometimes be outside your availability
  • To deal professionally and promptly at all times with Care Hub carers and clients

About you- Key Skills/Qualifications

  • You must have experience of delivering care or hold at least a Diploma Level 3 or Equivalent within the care sector
  • Have a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Be computer literate
  • Be driven, goal oriented and client focused
  • Have experience of Assessments and Review
  • Be comfortable liaising with Health Care Professionals to achieve the best outcomes
  • Be able to act as guide and mentor for your fellow community of carers
  • Have an understanding of a strength based approach
  • Be happy to engage with the wider community of the local area to achieve the best possible outcomes for the client
  • Be committed to driving quality and having an ambition to be the best
