What People Say About us
“I want to put in writing just how grateful I am to have Theresa, our live-in carer.
She initially came to live with us at very short notice before Christmas and stayed with us over Christmas and New Year, giving us priority over her own family.
Recently, Theresa extended her stay to a month to accomodate an appointment that I had at Bath hospital.
Her help that day was so invaluable, and I feel that it is important for you to know about the extra work that she does-and is prepared to do- and just how grateful I am. I hope she will come back in the future because she is a very good carer!”
“I would like to express how pleased I am with the care my father, Mr Leavy, has been receiving. We cannot praise Israel, his live-in carer, highly enough. As well as meeting his physical needs, Israel also sits with him and provides reassurance. He is extremely responsive and the ideal match for my father. I would also like to thank the carer who provided a break for Israel, they were fantastic. Sue, the live-in manager has also been a great support. The services that Abicare provide has made a real difference to my father and our family.”
“Thank you for the live-in carer you provided for my husband John, who was suffering from terminal cancer. Caroline Munenga was exceptional- caring, compassionate and experienced, and her concern for John’s well-being was evident. I am extremely grateful that she was here to help John and I during such a difficult time. Thank you for sending Caroline to us on what cannot have been an easy position to fulfill.”
Our other services
With Abicare you can choose as little or as much care that you require. We are flexible in our approach, with your needs at the heart of what we do.
You may need reassurance at night whilst home alone. Night shifts can either be a sleeping night where a carer is on hand through the night to provide assistance if required. They give you peace of mind to enable you to get a good nights sleep. Our Live in care will also offer waking nights where carers work with you through the night to ensure you have the care you need in the comfort of your home without going to hospital or a care home.
If you have a carer in need of a break, one of our carers will move in to give your usual live-in carer a well deserved holiday.
Whatever your health requirements or specific care needs our carers have the required training and experience to deliver the service you need. We cater for all ages, dependencies and care types.
Sits & Outings
If you fancy a few hours out of the house to do your shopping or perhaps you wish to go to the cinema, one of our carers can cover your break. We are also happy to assist the client on a day trip out.
