Live-In
We have three categories of package; high, medium and low dependency and once we have discussed what you need, we draw up an individual Care Plan, that can be modified, should your needs change. We work closely with you to ensure your comfort at home. We have an emergency 24 hour on call service 365 days a year. A live-in carer will: • Assist with all personal care tasks; getting up, washing, dressing, toileting, bathing. • Prepare all your meals. • Do light housework. • Help with shopping. • Accompany you on outings or for appointments • Assist collecting pensions and benefits • Assist with medication Once enrolled with Abicare our co-ordinators make regular contact to discuss the package and support you and the carer. A senior member of our care team reviews your care plan regularly and discusses any changes that might benefit you or you wish to make. Our Staff. All our care staff are carefully selected and undergo police checks (CRB checks) before we employ them. The next stage is one of induction - our carers are trained to be AbiCare staff. Finally, the carer will be monitored and supported throughout their career with Abicare and ongoing training is continually provided.
